One bill passed both chambers while another was lost in late January.

The Elizabeth-based Blazing Saddles Drill Team will host an open house on April 1 at Messer Arena in Kiowa—where anyone can bring a horse, try drills and see how the team performs at local rodeos.

The team hopes interested girls will join and learn safe riding techniques while showcasing their skills across the Front Range.
