- ➤ Officials reported that a human-caused Turkey Track Fire burned 128 acres near the shooting range at Highway 67 and Rainbow Falls; campers at the nearby campground were evacuated while crews worked to strengthen firelines amid hot, dry winds—conditions that helped the fire spread quickly. Authorities later confirmed the fire did not cross Highway 67 and continued fighting hotspots as red flag conditions challenged containment. Denver7
