LIFESTYLE NEWS

  • Colorado mom and thrift expert Hannah Zombory shared her top thrifting tips as new tariffs threaten to raise prices—she advised shoppers to keep a list, check all size sections, and look for popular items like second-hand jeans to save water. REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Today, Ulysses Development Group, partners and Governor Jared Polis celebrated the grand opening of *The Meadowmark*, a 200-unit affordable housing community for adults aged 55 and older in Castle Rock. The development offers amenities such as a craft room, community kitchen and fitness center and broke ground in spring 2023.  Castle Rock News-Press
  • Assessors in metro Denver counties reported that residential property values remained mostly flat during the recent biennial revaluation, with Douglas County noting a 3.5% decline while Adams County experienced declines between 2% and 6% and Jefferson County reporting a slight 2% increase. Homeowners are unlikely to see a significant jump in property tax bills next year — a welcome change after last year’s volatile revaluation — as updated tax notices will be issued later this year.  Denver7
