- ➤ The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a driver in a Highlands Ranch road rage incident from Wednesday—he is described as a young man in his late teens to early twenties driving a black Tesla with no visible license plates and wearing a gray hoodie and black beanie with a South Park character, who reportedly reversed aggressively during a minor traffic dispute. - ➤ Representative Brittany Pettersen sent a letter urging HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to visit Colorado and see how first responders use naloxone to save lives—she warned that cutting funding for the Overdose Prevention Program could roll back progress in the fight against opioid overdoses. - ➤ The Town will begin pouring the new bridge deck for Crystal Valley Parkway on May 8 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. with lane closures on I-25 at Exit 174 and a full West Frontage Road closure south of Yucca Hills Road—Twin Oaks residents will use Peak View Drive via Wolfensberger Road, with similar closures planned on May 15 from 6 p.m. until 3 a.m., and work will continue through the summer with major improvements finishing by 2027.
