- ➤ Developers at Sterling Ranch use cattle grazing to lower fire risk and bring a taste of Western heritage to the neighborhood—an old ranching practice that helps break up soil and fertilize land. In October, 150 cattle arrived to graze while neighbors enjoy watching Milkshake and her calf Oreo roam close to homes—most of the herd will soon return to summer pasture. Douglas County News-Press
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Town of Castle Rock announced an Art and Culture Grant Program that will fund up to $85,000 for 20 projects, including live performances, public murals, classroom art projects, and cultural exhibitions.
