- ➤ Eight metro-Denver assessors met in late April to review property values, and Douglas County’s home market has stabilized since the 2023 surge while commercial properties faced lower valuations. Tax bills will be finalized in late 2025 and may remain high until voters decide on a home rule charter in June — a change that could allow local tax adjustments — as officials continue to address ongoing tax questions.
