CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A vehicle theft suspect was arrested in Douglas County after leading deputies on a chase early Friday morning when a Flock camera spotted a stolen vehicle at an apartment complex, and after a tactical vehicle intervention the suspect rammed a patrol car injuring one deputy, narcotics were found in his car + he now faces multiple charges. - ➤ Douglas County voters have received ballots for a June 24 special election that asks if the county should write its own home rule charter — a plan that could give local leaders more control — after a May 28 town hall where officials explained the measure and its cost of up to $500,000.
