Good morning, Castle Rock.

Residents in Castle Rock reported high satisfaction with life in the Town’s 2025 community survey, with over 90% saying quality of life meets or exceeds expectations and 84% rating Town services as excellent.

However, many noted concerns such as managing growth and transportation, and Town staff and Council will soon evaluate options—like preserving open space and speeding up infrastructure upgrades—to address these issues.

On Saturday, a No Kings protest will take place in Castle Rock from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. as organizers plan to gather at the Douglas County Fairgrounds and march along Plum Creek Parkway as part of nationwide demonstrations; in Parker, protest organizer Carolyn Williamson said her demonstration will begin at 10 a.m. despite a permit denial from town officials.

The Museum of Outdoor Arts kicked off its free Rock the Block series on June 5 with a performance by Jeremy Lozano at Marjorie Park—upcoming events will feature musical guests Luke Henry, Julie Savannah and Duke with required online registration.
