- ➤ At the Aug. 19 Town Council meeting, officials approved contracts for Phase 1 of Fifth Street improvements—widening the road, adding a traffic signal, building a sidewalk, installing bike lanes, and upgrading drainage for safety. Phase 1 construction will begin this fall and finish by the end of 2026, with Phase 2 expected to start in 2028 if revenue allows. Town of Castle Rock
