Colorado Parks and Wildlife is increasing bear safety outreach in Monument as record sightings—over 6,000 so far—drive bears into neighborhoods in search of food; officials will host a bear safety table on Saturday (Forest Lakes Waterfront Park) to teach residents how to secure trash and other attractants.
🏛️ Government
Eligible Colorado residents can now register for the e-bike rebate program offering a $1,000 rebate - or $1,300 for e-cargo and adaptive bikes - from $3 million in funding by Community Access Enterprise.
Registration began at 11 a.m. MT on Aug. 24 and closes Aug. 31.
