Xcel Energy’s 4.77% rate increase is in effect for residential and commercial customers today, raising monthly bills by about $5 and $7 and funding infrastructure improvements while adding bill protections.
The rate change was approved by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission on Aug. 19.
🎓 Education
John Adams Academy in Sterling Ranch finished its first week of classes as the charter school opened its doors to new families.
Co-founders Ellie Reynolds and Kim Gilmartin said they hope students build a strong community through a classical education model that focuses on phonics, cursive and Latin.
