- ➤ Food Bank of Rockies reported that the need for food has not eased even after SNAP benefits resumed, with visits increasing 40%—up to 60% and the bank set to purchase an extra 80 truckloads of food a week ahead of Thanksgiving. - ➤ Castle Rock teen Kamryn B. from Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning won the Town’s annual Holiday Card Art Contest for 2025—her artwork 'Winter Nights of Castle Rock' was chosen from 27 entries. Town Council will formally recognize her at its December 2nd meeting—and she will receive a $100 gift card and 50 holiday cards as enlarged prints are shown at Cantril School, Castle Rock Recreation Center, and Miller Activity Complex.
