Good morning, Castle Rock.

Following Christmas, shoppers filled the Outlets at Castle Rock to hunt for bargains, cash in gift cards, and make returns; Jen Petersen said stores are clearing out winter stock for spring while store manager Jim Fuller noted a busier turnout than expected + many clearance items may sell out in a week.

Statewide snowpack is 54% of normal as of Friday, tying a record low as winter begins.

A strong cold front will bring 4—12 inches of snow to the mountains and 1—3 inches to Denver today into Sunday morning—cautioning residents to prepare for a sudden cold snap.
