- ➤ Douglas County deputies reported that Bryan Eyermann, 42, who was discharged from hospital on June 23 after being seen at home on June 19, has been missing for over three weeks and is believed to be on foot—officials urge anyone with information to contact Detective Donoho. Denver7

- ➤ Local law enforcement warns that most fireworks are illegal in Colorado—only fountains, snakes or glow worms, sparklers, ground spinners, illuminating torches and toy tanks and cars are allowed; in Castle Rock a permit is needed for any fireworks use. - ➤ Local nonprofits in Castle Rock that offer water, energy, food or shelter services can apply for up to $45,000 in funds through the Philip S. Miller Grant program, with the Finance Department managing applications and the Public Safety Commission evaluating proposals—Town Council will make final decisions.
